Have you tried using SWOT analysis to answer this question?

Early in the interview process, you will often be asked:
– Why are you interested in the position?
– Why did you apply?
– Why do you want to work for this company?
– Why should we hire you?

There are a number of techniques you can use to answer these questions.

If you find memorizing facts and data easier, why not practice SWOT analysis to help answer traditional interview questions.

For example:
Why are you interested in the position?
Strengths = Highlight skills and qualities aligned to the role and company’s mission.
Weaknesses = Identity aspects of the role you are excited to learn about.
Opportunities = Provide industry trends and insights and why you are interested in them.
Threats = Recognise threats and show how you are passionate about reducing threats to the company.

What works for you?
